About 30 years ago give a year or two either way, Steve gave me some money for Mother's day. I decided to go buy kitchen stuff. I paid about 8 dollars or so for the above whisk. It has been faithful and wonderful tool all those years. It died 2 days ago. Over time I realized the importance of buying good tools if you want them to last. I decided it was worth it to save up or spend my whole gift money on good tools for the kitchen , garden, sewing or etc. If it wasn't important I would buy cheap things but if it was something I was going to use a lot or use for many years I would buy only the good quality. It has served me well.

HA! 30 Years- that is CRAZY! I love good kitchen tools. That is seriously amazing.I love you!
This is exactly how I am. I do so much research about anything and try to buy the very best quality my money at the time can afford. It really makes a difference in the long wrong. Not worth it buying cheaper things to only have them last for a short time and it goes for anything. This is how my parent's, especially my dad, are.
haha- that is wonderful mom. love you!
I love you Sharon, and you are your Father's Daughter. He has always been that way. I can't believe it has lasted so long, I don't think I have a lot that has lasted that long. I do have a pan that was uncle Carl's and I have used it foever, since we owned that little resturent he ran and I still use it, I used it tonight for the oven fries. I also have a cast iron skillet that my mom had that was her mom's. I bought some Scan fry pans at that shop in Jacksonville, that are supposed to last forever and he says I will have to will them to someone when I die. I do love them, and they are perfect to re-heat in as they don't stick at all. Made from titianium I think. you need to let me know about the temple and we should include Judy if she can go, she is feeling a lot of anger and betrayal at present. I love you hugs and kisses
30 years, Mom, that's pretty incredible!
Now you need to think of some decorative craft you can make out of it!!! ;)
